Scholarships come from private and public sources. Some have restrictions on how they can be spent and most require students to meet and/or maintain certain requirements for eligibility. Earning scholarships requires time and effort!! It's never too early to start looking for and applying for scholarships. |
Scholarship Databases (click on logos below) can be useful tools for your scholarship search. Most require that you set up an account, but when you enter information about yourself (Gender, interests, GPA, etc) they will "match" scholarships to you based on your profile. It is highly recommended that you set up a separate e-mail account for these searches.

Scholarship Search Tips:
- When doing online searches, always find the website of the organization giving out the money. Many search engines have outdated and incomplete information.
- If it sounds too good to be true...it probably is.
- If you must pay money to get money, it's probably a scam. (Legitimate scholarship foundations do not charge application fees.)
- If you're suspicious of an offer, it's usually with good reason.
